PicSwipe is a mobile application that helps users clean up their photo and video gallery by swiping through media files. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data We Access

Photo & Video Library

PicSwipe requests access to your device's photo and video library to display media files for review. The app reads photos and videos stored on your device so you can decide which ones to keep or delete. Deletion is performed through the operating system's standard API and requires your explicit confirmation.

Data Stored Locally

The app stores the following data locally on your device using an embedded database:

• Kept IDs — identifiers of media files you have already reviewed, so they are not shown again in future sessions.
• Usage statistics — the number of files deleted, total freed storage space, and session count.

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Third-Party Services

Yandex Mobile Ads

PicSwipe uses the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements. Yandex may collect certain device and usage data in accordance with its own privacy policy. This may include:

• Device identifiers (advertising ID)
• Device model and OS version
• IP address
• Ad interaction data

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number).
• We do not upload your photos or videos to any server.
• We do not use analytics or tracking services beyond the ad SDK.
• We do not require user registration or accounts.

Data Deletion

All locally stored data (kept IDs and statistics) can be removed by uninstalling the app. No data is retained on external servers.

Children's Privacy

PicSwipe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
